【What is Bunraku?】

Bunraku is a traditional Japanese puppet theatre where the narrator (tayu), the shamisen player, and the puppeteers come together to create a unified performance. It has been recognized as one of Japan's representative traditional arts and is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
